  Anglesey  Midweek  League

Welcome to the Anglesey Aluminium Cricket Club Website.  The Club play on a pitch within the grounds of the Penhros Nature Reserve outside Holyhead in the North West of Anglesey, Wales.  The Grounds were once owned by Lord Stanley of Penhros and are now open to the public to observe the natural landscape and wildlife by the present owners Anglesey Aluminium.

The ground is surrounded by picturesque scenery.  The North End looks out to the Irish Sea where Ferries start or finish their journey from the port of Holyhead to the East of Ireland.  The West Side overlooks Farmland. The East Side Locates the Grey Stone Pavilion buildings, once the lands farm buildings and now converted into changing and tea rooms.  On the South Side the sponsors filtered chimney rises above the lush mounds of Sycamore and Beech Trees.

The Club play in in the North Wales Cricket League against Clubs including the  Castle Town of Conway and the gateway to Anglesey Menai Bridge.  Junior Cricket is developing within the Club as youngsters thrive on the newly developed facilities.
